Well-thumbed pages

A view along the stack of very large, very worn and fairly old books that are kept on top of a filing cabinet in the office. With the air of age and wear they look like almost any kind of esoteric knowledge could be found within, although actually they contain maps of the area from (I guess) perhaps the 1930s.
