is how it is signed at the Castle and stands for The Old Laundry, part of the Castle buildings. It is a fine building and modernised as a  holiday cottage. Also visible is the summerhouse. 
A dusting of snow overnight and light frost ensured slippery conditions underfoot, but pleasant anyway.
Not only were the birds singing this morning, but there was a lot of Corvid activity in the skies, wheeling and meeting. On this walk encountered a pair of Jays, which are not common in our area.
