Retro baking

In a Blip last month I had a photo of our lovely old Kenwood Chef mixer that had broken down and was waiting for me to fix it. Well, here it is working again (touch wood, fingers crossed) mixing up a cake. The recipe is from Delia Smith's Complete Cookery Course book from 40 years ago (today's based on her Dundee cake) and next to the mixer is our set of Salter scales, I'm guessing from the same era. Hopefully there's a little picture of the cake below. Have a great weekend everyone.
