Sahara feeling

Today we set of early, 6.30 am to Brigels to meet friends for a weekend at their holiday flat. The weather forecast was good for the morning, so we were keen to get on the ski field as soon as possible. It was 9.30 when we got to the top of the chairlift at 2,400m. It was calm and sunny, quite warm and good visibility. Our friends guided us around, the snow was great, then we had a spot of lunch. When we left the restaurant this was the view, no filter, just a strange effect of Sahara sand in the atmosphere.
The visibility was poor, we found a nice place to sit, and Mr. S made us a Schumi Pflumli ( that coffee with schnapps and whipped cream. He brought the MSR stove and melted snow to make it! In the evening another couple of friends came and we had cheese fondue altogether, quite a few glasses of wine and lot of chatting.
