Mother and child

There's a lovely little garden hidden away at the back of the Oxfordshire Museum in Woodstock, including this touching sculpture.

No idea about the identity of the sculptor - or indeed the subject. This would usually irritate me, but somehow on this occasion I think it just makes its appeal more universal...
