Long Tail

The long-tailed tits arrived, all eight of them and hit the feeders hard as it was very cold outside and they needed to feed up.

We've been outside too today putting up a bird box to replace and old one. It's got a camera inside and the entrance is for great tits again just to keep the continuity. Robert went up the ladder as Hubs doesn't like heights too much and did a great job with the whole thing. The picture now comes up on the tv and is remarkably clear so roll on spring when with luck they will make it home. Hubs has now taken it down and is measuring the dimensions in order to make another one for the blue tits who do need a new home or homes as theirs have got woodworm. The more the merrier.
