Tapioca snow

The very little snow here served only to mark out the paths. I did wonder what type of snow it was, very small snow pellets. Perfectly round but snow not ice. Wikipedia tells me its called graupel or tapioca snow  or soft hail . It looked like tapioca to me so I'll stick with that.
A very cold walk on Cunswick Scar (again) 0°C, with a wind from the east , felt like -5°C I think.  And a blue man in the distance as usual.
