Snowdrifts

This is what our garden bench on the terrace right next to the living room looked like this morning and still looks like tonight. We're not only locked- down but also kind of locked-in, because underneath the snow there's black ice and because the temperatures are below zero and will stay below zero for days all road traffic is discouraged and trains and planes are grounded. How curious that on top of the pandemic we now also have the coldest spell in years ! The wildlife was out in masses to spot if there was any food available and they were actually sharing the treats I had put out for them yesterday. See the rather cold looking squirrel in the snow coming for the pumpkin seeds in the extras, such a difference from yesterday.

Thanks so much for all the great entries for last Thursday's Abstract Thursday challenge , you were very creative again.  This coming Thursday the optional theme is 'geometric' and the tag will be AT294

Thanks again for all the entries, and thank you for the kind comments and stars for yesterday's greedy stockpiling squirrel :-)
