Jeff

Jeff spent 8 years in the Oregon prison system for Assault and Battery.  Snake River, Oregon State Penitentiary and finally Mill Creek Correctional Facility.  Released a little over a year ago, he's lived on the streets ever since.  A collection of tarps and an old sleeping bag serve as a makeshift home that Jeff can move when needed.  He's stays near a small group of people, but told me he prefers his independence.  For Jeff, the hardest part of looking for work is that he doesn't have ready access to a place to get cleaned up on a daily basis. He said it's a struggle just to survive.  There's little else left at the end of every day.
