Library visit/Risky Business

Took old family album to library to copy a photo of my grandmother to then transfer that image onto fabric. I am beginning a memorial piece based on sewn gift she gave me as a child.
I never noticed the family resemblance between my father and his mother! (mum & dad's wedding).
One of the lovely librarians suggested I have a "blind date" with a book (a Valentine week thing). The genre - Domestic Noir - was intrigueing enough.

When I returned home it struck me with wryly amusement that my life is so comfortable, amienable that this (taking of unknow book) was the riskiest act I've indulged in for quite some time.

The extra is the book inside, for me it has merit enough to try out.
