More celebrating

It's been a very school focused day. We've launched a fundraising concert so I had some admin for that - she has a full scholarship but we have a sizeable deposit to pay and a very significant list of kit & necessaries ranging from contra bassoon reeds at £25 a time to boxes of graphite pencils, 7 different varieties of footwear.... and a saxophone because she can't take her loan one with her. I'll put the info in a second picture for the concert. Please feel no pressure.

Anyway, the next school bit was our church coffee zoom. She's been so excited to share the news with our church family. She got quite shy though! We have time in small breakout rooms and she was chatty there but wasnt so keen talking to everyone. She just sat and grinned!

This afternoon we then had the final part of her pre entry tasks, the CAT4. Because it wasn't really in our plan to do this, we had not done any 11+ prep at all. We spent an hour yesterday going through some free samples online just so she could see what would be expected of her and it turned out to be the perfect amount of preparation for her. We took her to Bs to sit the test - their Internet is more reliable, it's where she's done everything else and to give me some company while she did it!

That being complete, it marked an end of me doing everything I have to do officially! We have an academic reference and musical references to wait on, but those should be just a formality. Aside from paying the remaining balance of her deposit, it's done! So, we celebrated with beautiful custom cupcakes that I had collected shortly before her test.
