Flying Christine

Another dull day but, this blip shows the Flying Christine III which is manned in Guernsey by the St John's Ambulance and Rescue Service.
To see her in action CLICK here
She was also built in Guernsey a few years back funded by charitable donation.
Her role is to provide a marine ambulance to attend medical cases on the nearby Bailiwick islands, Alderney, Sark, Herm etc and to render medical assistance to ships/boats who may be in range.
Blip shows her in the St Sampson Harbour boat hoist and about to receive some TLC, I presume a scrub and fresh anti-fouling in preparation for the summer.
Another thing which caught my eye is the huge rock to the right of the picture, this commemorates Daniel de Lisle Brock who was Bailif of Guernsey from 1821-1842.
