Minerva building

Dumfries Academy isn’t a school I attended, but it is a beautiful building in the town centre. We’re blessed by many wonderful buildings which I intend to share.

The goddess of learning is well protected by her lions. Our new schools pale into insignificance where architecture is involved. Can you imagine the cost of building this now?
