Post Haste

A love letter of sorts sent to my Great Aunt probably in the early 1920s...I couldn’t photograph the whole page as some verses weren’t very PC! We believe it was written by the local chemists son but the romance either fizzled out/or didn’t get off the ground and my Aunty remained a spinster all her life. Another find in amongst the boxes from home.

I had hoped to catch the courting pigeons but they’re playing hard to catch today...though they’re likely to turn up after I’ve posted this! Now I must go and finalise the grocery order before there are any further mishaps!!
