Cherry cake

Hope the cherries are not at the bottom although I did as Delia suggested leaving a third and poking them in at the top - how scientific!
Tedwin went off on his own as I was not happy going out in icy conditions, I have a bad record. The sun looked lovely and the wind has dropped.
