Tiny Tuesday red

The theme was something red or/and a heart.  I found a tiny red flower on this Hazel branch, and this, apparently is the female flower, while the Catkin is the male flower on a Hazel tree.  The Catkins appear first and hang in great clusters while (as you can see) the female flowers are TINY.
I also saw a RED kite in the tree in our garden (well, Mr. P spotted it first) and, although the photo is heavily cropped and there were twigs in the way, I have included  it in extras.
