On the Dee Marshes

It started off as a beautiful crisp clear cold day. The bright light was almost too good for birdwatching , but we enjoyed the thousands of pink footed geese gathered before their journey north, some marsh harriers, stonechats, great white egret, green woodpecker- amongst others-- before it clouded over and started to snow.
