I was starting to worry that I wouldn’t get the car up the hill at the end of our street in the morning if there was a big freeze overnight, so I’ve just cleared the snow for the second time and moved it around the corner now. The almost new all-weather tyres did their job no problem but here’s hoping I don’t get a parking ticket from a zealous, snow-braving warden.
I didn’t bother with the car earlier when I had an optician’s appointment but got all the winter gear on and slogged through the slush instead. Great fun! Good news, nothing wrong with my eyes.
