Aubery to Ailsa Craig

This cloud possibly signals an end to the brilliant weather we've been enjoying on the Ayshire Coast all week, but as usual, it's still a lovely sunset. Taken from Largs Prom at Aubery Crescent, looking down the Firth of Clyde to the conical island of Ailsa Craig which is a volcanic plug, famous in the past for its curling stone quarry. The southern tip of Big Cumbrae is on the right.
