The Inner Link

Taking a photo of the cranes on a building site in Stanley street, as I walked from the apartment where we are house sitting to the Unit. Also captured two of the green buses which run the Inner Link circuit. Realised belatedly that had it been actually raining this morning I had a ready made almost dry alternative less than a city block from the apartment building.

That’s because using it is counter intuitive. Heading one way (the way these two buses are headed) would take me to Ponsonby, the opposite way to getting to the hospital, before circling around to go past the hospital leaving a less than 5 minute walk to the Unit. Going the other way heads to Newmarket then back past the hospital. Either way would be dryer than walking for half an hour in the rain.

Either way, the cranes and the new building took my fancy this morning.
