A silent morning

A superb morning walk with callue and company through the golf course and to the trig point. The silence only broken by the clear crunch of our footsteps.

Cash for hours.

Lunchtime clearing the pavement to the main road.

More cash for hours.

Dinner.

I headed out to another Edinburgh trig point in the dark. It was very quiet, the screams of joy from sledgers on steep golf courses muffled with the falling snow.

On the hill a lonely runner bounced by muted and with an unnecessary head torch on. Stood by concrete plinth looking at the city. Buses abandoned on the steep hill straight ahead.

Milk and bread bought at shop and waljed home along the tyre tracks of tarmac.

Juno walked.
