Witch Hazel

We pruned a lot of trees and bushes last spring and revealed a witch hazel tree that is enjoying the extra light. I don't remember all these flowers last year or the year before. Close up there are tiny red flowers - perfect for Tiny Tuesday. Its a back blip, too many Zoom meetings yesterday.

Its Latin name is Hamamelis Mollis. I hope its no relation to Alchemilla Mollis which I'm no fan of and  pull up whenever I see it in the garden.
