Early walk

It was so cold this morning. It was well below freezing, Darren thought it was about minus 5 around the reservoir, the good thing though was that the sky’s were clear and the sun was rising.
We’d had a fresh covering of snow overnight, not much, but that just laid on top of what as been here for the last 5 days. The snow is quite reluctant to leave in this area, we are quite high up though and it tends to feel a little colder here than other lower near by places. Darren is always wary of how cold it is and how long he keeps me out, though on a morning it’s never too long as he as to go to work, so normally 20-25 minutes at most, but it’s enough.
