Snow covered Kent Countryside

An unexpected top up of snow this morning covering up the icy bits and resurfacing the worn out sledging runs.

We went out after lunch to walk in over six inches of lovely dry powdery snow around the Tudor Park golf course in bright sunshine. The snow squeaked and crunched beneath our boots, just like the snow in the Dolomites but without those stupendous mountains.

Took part in the regular Marmite Ukulele jam zoom session playing, amongst other tunes, songs from the musicals. If we thought we had a good covering of snow Brian, who lives near Ipswich said they had 18 inches of the stuff.

Today’s blip is of the snow covered Kent Countryside where earlier in the year, the fields had been smothered in buttercups.a belated entry for Wide Wednesday, hosted by Steveng.

I’d like to introduce a new member of Blip, Tricyclist, who is one of our family and lives in Forres on the Moray Firth.
