Snowy Roof Geometrics

When we had a slight fall of snow earlier I noticed the strong geometric patterns on our favoured East Roof pantiles so when the abstract challenge  was one of geometry I naturally turned my head upwards,. This is in fact my neighbours roof asI thought it had more going for it than our own roof with strong diagonals from both the shadows and the melt line over the roof.
