Project 365 day 43: Snowdrops in the Snow

The air and wind were bitterly cold today, despite the sun, and the pavements and lanes are too icy for walking to be comfortable or advisable. I walked gingerly to the post box, anxious that I might fall and damage the camera, and not oblivious to the extreme inconvenience that damaging myself would cause just now. Sometime last week I took a couple of quick photos of the many snowdrops on the triangle, the village's green space just beyond the post box, and intended to return; today, I wondered how they were faring under the snow. Some looked very flattened under its weight, a few were broken or trampled, but most are still standing, surviving...
