Swan Lake

Was worried this poor swan was frozen into the water so called SPCA - who actually have a recorded message when you choose dedicated swan option - to say they get lots of calls about this but they have incredibly strong feet and can smash through the ice - so that was a relief. This is on the Douglas Estate and is worth a visit. Canada geese were resting there and were magnificent in flight.
