From my window

Something of emergency blip today as, although it is sunny, it is very cold, and there is rugby on TV, so not very conducive to going out. These pretty flowers have been blooming in my neighbour's front border for a week so, so I've had them in mind for a blip. Google says they are Netted Irises, native to Russia, the Caucasus, and norther Iran. They provide a lovely splash of bold colour.

And, yes, I can see them from my window, although I did venture across the road to take the picture.
