Hungry horse.

This is the equable equine Ernie, who we sometimes bring grass to when we pass by on our walk. Today however we didn't have any, so Ernie resorted to gnawing the gate instead.
Extra: dead owl fungus. This was a decaying ball of fungus that had a dense sponge like texture.
