Hmong Village and the Spoon maker...

We visited this hill village where some of the locals have perfected the art of spoon making amongst other things such as can openers etc. all made from UXO bomb remnants from the Vietnam war. This friendly guy invited us into his home and showed us how he makes them. He then went on to play us a welcome tune on his bamboo woodwind instrument whilst dowsing us with homemade rice whiskey.
