Icy Beck

It has been some years since we've had a cold snap such as this one.  It is on the turn now so, having had a quiet day, I took a walk along the beck in Deepcliff to see if there were any remaining icicles.  

We had a smashing Skype with Euan this morning.  He is understanding much more and forming more words including goody good and fish.  He was very entertaining.

After lunch I had a lovely catch up via WhatsApp with my former boss when I was teaching/mentoring.  As we know, it is particularly hard for young people with families just now, working from home and home schooling.  We did chuckle quite a bit, particularly over the highlight of our week being click and collect or delivery!
