Cora_Lee's room.

After preparing a cabin for some people i headed out to Cora-Lee and George's place for lunch!   I took Tom's pizza and George made lemon meringue pie!  It was delicious.   Then Cora-Lee took me up to the very top of their amazing, rambling old house.....where she has claimed the space as a Room of Her Own!   Everyone should have a separate space in the 'home' where they can go to recharge, nap or just know they won't be interrupted!   It is a fascinating space, full of light due to the 8 decent sized windows.   This is a very old house, i think she said it dates back to the 1800's and this particular space used to be 3 very small bedrooms.   C-L is a great collector of all things antique and unusual....so it is just a perfect place to look about and admire.   We spent a good couple of hours talking about life and all it's joys and struggles! 

The extras:  A stunning lamp that used to belong to her mother, and a very old travel trunk that apparently our dear friend Charlotte owned and used on her many travels over the years.   Wonderful feeling of history and the continuation of loved stuff!
