Auckland Harbour Bridge

... rush hour on day one of Alert Level 3 lockdown in Auckland.
We decided to return home from.our holiday because of the 3 Covid cases in the community and NZ going into level 2 lockdown (Auckland into level 3). It took us ten & half hours, two & half hours queuing at the southern checkpoint out of Auckland - not so.long at the northern checkpoint as we came into Auckland. Unfortunately the only way home was through Auckland and at Alert Level 3 nobody can enter or leave the city unless they have a special dispensation or are returning home. We had to go through both checkpoints.
