It begins!

I told myself I wasn't going to start growing anything til April this year, following the advice of my allotment neighbour of 50 years experience, vowing to focus on groundwork and shifting things around through February.

Ground is frozen solid though, so... Indoor sowing experiment instead! Coir dots which I've never tried before, and old shoe storage boxes to help retain warmth. I half expect these to mostly fail and I'll sow the same again in a month or so in compost, but fingers crossed - certainly much more fun than looking at the seed packets :)
