In Training For The Kentucky Derby?

Mr. W has spent a little time this afternoon attempting to train Mabel to accept a "jockey" on her back.  I assume this is because he wants to enter her in the Kentucky Derby, but perhaps it's just because the day has been so dreary and gray that he's been driven to such extremes by boredom!
