Landing gear engaged .....

...... preparing for touchdown on a spot of watery ice.

Plenty of activity up at the loch ..... gulls circling, geese making as much noise as they could as they sought to find a mate for the coming months, ducks just paddling about and the flock of lapwings standing socially distant in the middle of the remaining ice.

I bought three wee pots of Tete a Tete narcissus which I have planted in a pot outside the front door ..... tried to protect them from Sammy Squirrel who regularly digs up my bulbs.
