Trees on the edge.

We decided to have a day out somewhere we have never been as no travel restrictions here within Switzerland. We went to Lake Neuchatel then drove up above it and hiked through the snow to Creux du Van. It is a natural rocky cirque 1400m wide and 150m deep. It was impressive as was the view towards the lake.
These gnarled trees caught my attention (as well as the view). They were right on the edge and looked as if they were holding hands. Extra= the view without the trees and the ' cirque ' itself. Late picnic lunch in the car as it was too windy to eat outside! Home via shop to get eggs for R to make pancakes.
