Shell, North Shore

Beautiful morning nosing around North Shore and the area behind the gasometer which is the last survivor and was one of three which once stood on the site

Met a lovely wee man at Caroline Park who was researching for a book on doocots.

The current stasis in redevelopment has resulted in the area becoming something of a wilderness and with kestrels overhead pheasant, rabbits squirrels and even deer were spotted, all within 500 metres of the local supermarket.

Wet knees and dirty hands to get this backlit shell.
