The Spider's Roots

A couple of weeks ago I blipped my spider in a bottle. Over the past two weeks it has gone, as always, sweet and sour.

The good thing is the speed at which the roots have grown; I swear they were quivering with excitement in the early days in their new home.

On the down side algae has also been growing like crazy even though I have been replacing the water every couple of days.

I now recall the colour supplement article did mention using bottled mineral water ( I got it from water butt) though I assumed that was a metropolitan affectation. 

I look forward to the next few weeks with interest (sadly my money is on the algae)
