Sweet things

Blitzed some batter and poured it in the pan, flipped it a little gingerly (my dad used to toss 'em high into the air!) and we enjoyed some lemony, sugary indulgence. The pretty tray was a gift from my older daughter B from her travels in the middle east. :)

The usual race-against-time work day, but I did finish my chapter this morning (it's taken long enough - so that's two in the bag) and we were presented with a very fine rainbow this afternoon. 

Small satisfying things that make the day taste sweet.
