Lock Gates

Cripes. I'm falling behind this blip conveyor again. And for no good reason - maybe I'm just getting a bit slack. Slack old jack tar. That's me. With a bit of Monsieur Hulot, of course.
So, this was Leith yesterday. Sunshine, before it got overcast.
Later, twas music night at the Sample Room and there were no fewer than fower blippers! Gasp. The lovely, the even lovelier, the irascible and of course the MD himself. Sandy Brechin was the headline act, but the barmaid (Claire?) accompanied by Willum Oke 'brought the house down' with three numbers - Nine to Five, Black Horse and the Cherry Tree, and Valerie. Who wants folk and roots when you can have karaoke done by a live band?
I was going to head straight home to watch the by-election special after that, but the bad boys were heading to the Diggers....
