Merganser

We made it to Port Ludlow late yesterday afternoon.  The freeways were all clear, the worst driving was the surface streets in the neighborhood.  It is cold but the snow has melted here, a few piles from snow plows remain.  I took a walk early this morning but didn't see much wildlife.  I stopped and thought that I should have seen a bald eagle this time of year, just then my eyes landed on a mature bald eagle sitting on top of the inn.  It wasn't a great photo looking up at it on a roof.  So I went with this merganser.
