The rain has fallen for most of the day, and it has been greyer than an undercoat paint factory. The colourful theme has not therefore been easy. 
These lions however, sitting atop a roof, kindly made the blip. 
Lion numbers have declined 30% in the last ten years, so I was lucky to see these. As they sleep 16-20 hours each day, their reduction is hardly surprising, since they're mostly off their guard (the Major, in Fawlty Towers, would agree.)
