Wide Wednesday - Bright Colors

How could I not participate in a wide Wednesday challenge that seemed custom made for my situation. I would normally head to the market where there is a plethora of bright colors to photograph, but today was the final day of volleyball for a couple of friends so I was at the beach during prime market time. I therefore seized upon my wife's latest project, a repurpose of a dull spoon rest that has been hanging in our kitchen for a couple of years. On the right is the repainted version, on the left is the original. It will undoubtable be featured here once it is completed.
