Pepysman

One Down, One to Go

Another crossword- another pen. This time the crossword is from the BBC History Magazine which has a prize crossword every month. In this case the prize is Norman Stone's history of the second world war in 200 pages and I thought Max Hastings did well to manage it in 600 pages.

I am pleased to report that I completed it in one sitting without recourse to Google or the Oxford Companion toBritish History - smug or what?

The pen is a Parker Jotter given to me by an aunt for my 21st birthday.

Lest it be thought I am only do prize crosswords, I am now ready to start the I crossword- purely for pleasure.
