Socially distanced

I popped into work this morning to put up a couple of displays but only managed one as it took so long. Afterwards, we met Dad at Haughmond Hill for a socially distanced walk. I hate these restrictions and really want to get back to normal life now.
The sun shone just as we arrived at the viewpoint and it was lovely to take in the beautiful views and imagine being somewhere warmer. Dad's usually in Tenerife and is missing his holiday friends.
We squelched on through the horrendous mud and were entertained by two twenty somethings trying to get through the mud in new white trainers.
It was lovely to see Dad but I think I'll give Haughmond a miss until the summer when it's had time to completely dry out!
