Confused

I got a text message to book a appointment for a vaccine today.  

I’m confused because I’m under 50 and have no health conditions that I’m aware of (although I wondered if this was a not so subtle but concise way of my surgery breaking other news in one swoop) 

My wife got an invite too we discussed and we feel guilty about signing up - other folks need it more than we do...
