Gorgeous springlike day for the robin

Spent 3 hours litter picking the local secondary modern school grounds. Crisp.bags, bottles and sweet wrappers and little bits of plastic were the main culprits but pen tops, bottle tops and lots of little pieces of plastic were embedded in lawns too. You wouldn't believe how much litter there was and it will take weeks to finish.  How can staff or pupils be proud to be working in a rubbish heap? Doesn't anyone notice litter anymore?
