Red Pandas

This afternoon was another University event. This one was part of the wellbeing support programme provided by the museum that I volunteer in normal times.

By the power of Zoom we were transported to a Cambridge wildlfe park to meet and learn about Red Pandas. We saw two with their keeper who gave us lots of information and demonstrated how intelligent they are. She explained how they need lots of challenges and activities so that they don't get bored. They are very attractive animals looking more like red and white teddy bears. They are found in the wild in the 6 countries spanning the foot of the Himalayas including India. I wish we had seen some when we were in India in 2019!
