Icy Rosemary

We started the day off losing power around 6:00 AM. Sleet and freezing rain still coming down. Our new freezer due to be delivered after noon. First mission was to check on Mr. Holden and start his generator. Then we headed out to get a cup of coffee and assess the damage. The delivery men call to say they were early and in the driveway. Quickly headed home, the delivery it went smooth and they were soon on their way. Next we tried to put the wrecked house back together including working on the dryer that broke a belt that was also delivered today. I had a crock pot meal planned that I had made early...forgot to turn the pot on when the power came back on though in all the chaos. I did not notice it was cold until it was dinner time. That is just the highlights...wishing you a peaceful and safe weekend.
